List of Matchups

Real life

Aztec Jaguar Knight vs Azande Tribesman
A Redux. Will Steel and savagery prevail or will the great hunter of Mesoamerica win?
-Done

Robert E. Lee vs Simon Bolivar
The man who liberated a good portion of a continent faces a man who failed to secede from a single country, but may be quite possibly a better general. Will the liberator defeat the confederate, or will Lee end Bolivar and change South America forever?

Kommando Spezialkrafte vs Special Air Service

It's WW3 and Germany is fighting Britain...AGAIN. Will Britain save itself from Germany again or has Deutschland finally created a force that will ensure Britain's downfall?

Gaius Julius Caesar vs Alexander the Great
Which great conqueror will win? The Roman conqueror of Gaul who changed a nation or the man who is known by some as the greatest conqueror of all time? It's a glorious historical debate, and it's time to settle this.

Iroquois Guerilla vs Sumerian Soldier

Sumer may have been one of the first civilizations of all time, but the Iroquois established possibly the greatest civilizations in North America and neither side will back down.

Joan vs Arc vs Hannibal Barca

Technology or strategy? Which advantage is better? Joan fought the English with steel armor and cannons, while Hannibal battled the Romans with phalanx formation and war elephants. It's rewriting history and pitting a Saint against one of the greatest military commanders of all time.

Knight Templar vs Spartan Hoplites:

It's time to finally settle the greatest debate in Deadliest Warrior history. Both are exceptionally skilled fighters who fought behind a wall of armor and shield, but the similarities end there. The Spartans are extremely trained and fought behind the phalanx; they did not back down and they were possibly the greatest warriors classical history had to offer. But now, they find an enemy beyond anything they have ever fought before. The Knights Templar fought for Christianity in the Crusades, but can they overcome the Spartans? Will the technological advancement of the Knights give them an edge, or will raw power and training overcome the Knights in their greatest fight yet?

Fictional

Mewtwo vs Darth Vader

It's been noted by a lot throughout history that morality tends to do some odd things to people; more specifically, it tends to screw with the concept of evil and if people should be 'evil'. Mewtwo was a classical sort of evil, who was cloned and treated like a weapon until he broke free and nearly destroyed the world, but morality got the better of him and he become something of a pacifist to protect himself and his fellow clones. Darth Vader was born out of Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One of the Force. Disabled by his injuries at Mustafar, he was loyal to Emperor Palpatine until the minute he betrayed him and threw him down the Death Star core; where he died. Now, these two clash in a duel of leaders among men (and Pokémon!), two exceptional psychics, and also some of the greatest classical villains in movie history.

Shanoa vs Korra

The female gender has often been downplayed in fiction, with more powerful male characters stealing the spotlight. However, here we find two great female combatants in two universes dominated by males. Shanoa is a gifted glyph user, but can she stand up to the sheer power of the Avatar? Can Korra's bending trump Shanoa's weapon glyphs? Only time-and this matchup-will tell.

Nazi Waffen SS vs 28 Days Later Infected

The days left on humanity are limited; indeed, in the grand scheme of things we are little. We are being toyed with by some careless alien race, not caring about the way humanity ends up; we are the gladiators in some coloseum of a grand alien civilization. but now, the time for striking back is not. Ones infected by a disease that can expand their reach are often known as the greatest enemies of humanity, and especially in video games. They do not quit, they are all but immune to our weapons, and they turn us into them. Also popular in the gaming genre are the Nazis; ever since the end of the Second World War, these people have been quite demonized into a being far evil than any human, but in reality they were still a horrendous force that was the closest thing Terra has had to world domination in millennia. Now, the most elite forces of Nazi Germany, the Waffen SS, try to defend Terra against the deadly infection. Who will win? Either way, the rest of humanity is not going to enjoy the victor's success.

Soma Cruz vs Dante

The role of Vampires in human history is long and full of blood. Oftentimes skilled vampire hunters fight the unholy undead, and usually win. However, that winning streak is now being out to the ultimate test. Soma Cruz, the reincarnated Lord of Darkness, restrains his true power so he may fight against the evil power he has within. He has the uncanny ability to absorb the souls of his enemies, and is a skilled fighter in both melee and firearms. His opponent Dante is eerily similar; the son of a demon and a human, Dante has dedicated his life to fighting the demonic forces that badly changed his life, and he is very skilled in doing so. Dante may be far superhuman in strength and speed, and may have a deadly arsenal of swords and guns, but can even his power defeat the wrath of Soma Cruz and his army of souls?

Ben 10 vs Trainer Red:
The pinnacle of each universe's power, these two children are much more than meets the eye. Both have saved their world from evil, both wield magical creatues, and both rose from small life to heroism. Red used Pokémon in a good way to battle Team Rocket and defeat them, soon becoming the Champion of Kanto, and is known as one of the best trainers in the Pokemon universe. Ben 10 was originally a regular kid, but was blessed with the Omnitrix; an alien device that allowed him to morph into 10 different kinds of aliens. he used this to defeat the evil Vilgax and promote universal peace. Both wield beings beyond our imagination, both have defeated beings far beyond themselves, but only one can be the Deadliest Warrior!

Percy Jackson vs Cloud Strife

Sometimes the greatest fighters are people you would never suspect of power, and these two are shining examples of it. Percy Jackson was born a demigod, and used his demigod powers and his allies to defeat Kronos, who not even the gods could vanquish. However, now he faces a new enemy in the form of Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy VII. Born as a regular person, he was infused with Mako and become the equivalent-and then superior-of Sephiroth, 1st Class SOLDIER and greatest fighter in his world. Percy Jackson is skilled in both manipulating water and swordfighting, but can he match the equal in power Cloud? Hydrokinesis battles Materia, Riptide faces off against the Fusion Swords, and the Hero of Olympus takes on the Guardian of the Lifestream-for only one sword can finally win.

Solid Snake vs Gordon Freeman

Sometimes, humanity is in need of help. I mean, they are basically screwed without a big help. More often then not in video games, they come. These two have overcome the odds, and beaten back the big bad to save the Earth the best they can. Solid Snake was engineered to be the best soldier, while Freeman was forged in the fires of war from a normal man to an unstoppable menace. Snake may have superior training, but can he overcome Gordon's technological advantage? A bullet, however small, can be the difference between life and death for almost anyone...

Dovahkiin vs Link

A hero of prophecy is most often the best kind of fighter, and these two sure are good fighters. Link is an incredibly powerful swordsman, archer, and strategist-and so is Dovahkiin. Link oaught Ganon and Dovahkiin fought Alduin, but only now can a tense duel between classic and modern finally be brought to the finish. One will live to conquer, the other will die.

Neku Sakuraba vs Katniss Everdeen

Both of these juvenile warriors do not fight by choice, at least in the beginning. They were both chosen to partake in a blood sport, one for punishment of ancient rebellion and the other for the possibility of renewed life or ascension. One wields brute force and exceptional magic skills, the other almost superhuman skill with a bow and immense skill at survival. The final battle for the Games begins, and one will die, the other will be lost, already dead...
